Orange & White Stone Bracelet
This bracelet is made up of white stones flecked with red and blue: interspaced with clear amber glass beads to add that extra sparkle. The piece de la resistance is the charming gold-plated leaf and an impossibly smooth and brilliant orange natural stone.
Krobo powder glass beads are made in vertical molds fashioned out of a special, locally dug clay. Most molds have a number of depressions, designed to hold one bead each, and each of these depressions, in turn, has a small central depression to hold the stem of a cassava leaf. They are made by the Krobo and Ashanti people of Ghana.
