Amber Duo Ball Bracelet
The centrepiece of this bracelet is a gold-plated round pendant accompanied by two large round amber-coloured crafted balls; with lines of various colours painted in their middle. Decked on either side with rather intense orange beads flecked with bright yellow. Each bracelet is lovingly created by a seasoned artisan, who began his training at a very early age, as is the custom.
Krobo powder glass beads are made in vertical molds fashioned out of a special, locally dug clay. Most molds have a number of depressions, designed to hold one bead each, and each of these depressions, in turn, has a small central depression to hold the stem of a cassava leaf. Each bead and bracelet is lovingly made by seasoned Krobo or Ashanti artisans and is, therefore, unique.
